The chin-length bob with bangs is when the hair is cut in a straight line, without any layers, right at the level of the chin. Then a small portion of the hair along the hairline is trimmed so that it falls just above the eyebrows. It is a versatile, kid-friendly chin-length haircut that can be styled in various ways.

Towel dry hair. Using a blow dryer and flat brush, slowly brush hair from the root toward the end while drying, being sure to follow the brush with the hair dryer as you go. To style the bangs, set the hair dryer to low or medium. Place the brush under the bangs and hold the hair dryer above, drying while brushing downward. Curl the brush slightly near the ends if you want to add a slight curl. When dry, set with hairspray to tame flyaways and keep hair in place.
Towel dry hair. Apply a volumizing product, like a mousse. Dry hair completely, lifting hair at the roots to create volume (or flipping hair over and blow drying upside down). Once hair is dry, separate a small section of hair. Starting midway down the section, wrap hair around a large-barreled curling iron. Continue to do this, section by section, until you have curled all of the hair. Gently comb through curls with fingers or a brush. To style the bangs, set the hair dryer to low or medium. Place the brush under the bangs and hold the hair dryer above, drying while brushing downward. Curl the brush slightly near the ends if you want to add a slight curl. Finish with gel or hairspray.
What to tell your stylist
Love this haircut? Here's what to tell your stylist so you can get this look.
“I’d like a chin-length bob with bangs. I’d like the bottom of the hair to be even with the chin all the way around, and I’d like the bangs to end just above my eyes.”
When discussing the style with your stylist, specify the length you're aiming for and how you'd like your bangs cut. For the bob, use reference points like your chin or shoulders, and for the bangs, consider different styles like straight-across, side-swept, curtain, or blunt, and adjust the length using your eyes and eyebrows as guides. This will help ensure you achieve the precise look you desire.
